Rules that can get you in trouble
Google's policy bans asking only your happy customers and bans incentives for reviews. Thankbell sends every customer you add the same request, so the tool never steers you toward breaking those rules.

Questions
When can I use it?
We open in January 2027, founding members first in the order they joined. The free review card maker works today.
Do I pay anything now?
No. Joining is free and needs no card. You pay only once your account opens, and you can get a full refund within 30 days of that first payment.
Is asking for reviews allowed by Google?
Yes. Google encourages businesses to ask for reviews. What it bans is paying or rewarding people for reviews and asking only the customers you think are happy. Thankbell asks everyone the same way and never offers anything in return.
What about text messages?
We start with email. Texting needs each business registered with the phone companies first, which takes time and a small fee, so we'll add it as an option after launch rather than promise it on day one.
What does my customer see?
A short email from your business name thanking them and asking them to share how it went, with one button to your Google review page. It reads like the example at the top of this page; you will see the full email in your account before anything goes out.
What if Thankbell doesn't open?
Then you paid nothing, and we'll email you to say so.
